Duties:

• Attend all required training classes prescribed by Team Leader or Educational Coordinator. All chemical services must be completed and tested out on a live model.
• Provides all chemical services for clients (ex. highlights, perms, etc.).
• Consults with clients to suggest appropriate methods to care for hair.
• Promotes retail sales to the clients.
• May do make-up touch ups or hand facials or assist senior staff members when not booked.
• Sorts through and stocks inventory, if needed.
• Contribute to the growth and productivity of the salon.
• Set a positive example for all new Colorists and other team members. Act in the role of mentor for new staff members when needed.
• Must maintain current clientele while continuing to build.
• Contribute to the growth and artistic standards of the educational team.

Education/Experience:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of all prescribed education classes is required. Attendance is mandatory for all prescribed classes set by the Team Leader or Educational Instructor. A current Louisiana Cosmetology License.
